However, I did try to get someone else signed up and it kept dying on them as they tried to register. I was surprised that it did that, because it has been working for. I thought they worked out the problems with that.

It isn't improving for me,either.

On day one, I could access the site, choose my state, then proceed to the registration, where it told me my e-mail address, ( 3 different ones ) and my user name, (5 different ones ), were not valid.

Still can't get beyond that stage. No improvement, despite having been told, for weeks now, in the "live person chat" countless times, that the issue is being addressed and will work as soon as tomorrow. It's been literally weeks of tomorrows. No change.

Yes I realize I can do it by phone and if I can,t do it on the site by mid December, I will.

I'm in PA as he is. My daughter finally was able to set up an account two weeks ago. After reviewing what was available for her she is now signed up for coverage. Her premium will be $100 a month.

(as it should be)

There is no chance of being rejected now, so there is really no reason for him to panic.

With the gazillions of "reporters & naysayers" flooding the site 25/8, it;s not hard to see why people who really need the site are having extra difficulties.
