I'm working the information desk at my local hospital, and just now a man walked by with a foil-covered dish that had a suspiciously turkey-like shape. and the wonderful odor of baked turkey is still lingering.
Sometimes working a holiday is fun!

I was fortunate to get New Yrs Eve off, returning a couple days later to find everyone with sore butts as someone brought in a goodie tray to share, lots of staff ate off it, then the person was discovered to have Hep A and the staff got gamma globulin shots.
Other than that, it was a great holiday season there.
