Alan Keyes wants a third party...

Please Alan, create one for the kooks like yourself...

Alan Keyes Floats Religious Right Third Party

Submitted by Brian Tashman on Tuesday, 12/3/2013 11:20 am

Angry over the GOP’s “surrender in principle on issues of fundamental right like abortion and the rights of the natural family,” Alan Keyes thinks that it may be time for a third party that will represent the far-right.

party would have much of an impact on any potential Democratic voter other than the induction of laughter as the nuts and teabaggers further split the GOP.

on edit this is a different wackjob. I was thinking Herman Cain and the teabaggers. Keyes would pull of the religious nutjob wing of the party not the teabag nutjob wing.

Too many nutjob wings for me to keep track of.

Allan Lichtman said if the candidate running as a 3rd party candidate comes out of a particular party it doesn't hurt the party in power unless it's someone like Bernie Sanders if Sanders runs we are SCREWED!!! even thought he is independent it would split the democratic party in the Presidential election electing someone like Christy or even Rudio

Isolate the rabid right-wingers in their own sick echo chamber, where winning elections is a side issue. Yeah, go for it, Keyes.

8. You look a little into some of the bylaws he wants into the party and it gets weird

Something about how only people who sound like Marvin the Martian should be in charge of policy in the new party, etc.

Like I said... Weird.

12. Why does his insistence that a speaker of the house be elected who is not

a member of the house, but can be anyone who is a U.S. citizen - who would impeach Obama and then be the next president - why does that make me think Alan wants to be prez without going to the bother of an election? Or maybe it is felt that is the only way a Cruz type can get to be president, by gaming an already corrupt system.

I would love to watch the debates between the religious right and the libertarians. Fun times!

18. At some point the GOP will either split into two parties or alienate enough voters to render it moot

The GOP is having a war inside itself. The right wing hardcore base are demanding policies that will make it very hard for the GOP to win national elections. The GOP's only choices are to give into the base or risk a portion of the base breaking off to form third party.
