Dems pushed back hard. Rev. Al and Maxine Waters, a former black congresswoman (who was there when sanctions against SA was finally achieved, against the wishes of Ronald Reagan) made it very clear that darling RR was on the wrong side of history initially. It was a struggle to get him straight.

Repuke apologist Craig Shirley tried to sugar coat RR in the whole fight and got slapped (politely but firmly) down. The thing is that Rev. Al, and the other spokespersons today, KNEW full well that revisionism would be tried and he even talked about it, just so everyone knew where repukes stood historically.

The RW whitewash didn't do so well on Morning Joe today. It was a great segment! Nice to see Waters and Charlayne Hunter Gault, and brought back some memories I had of such an exciting time...

1. That is good to hear. So many of our younger people

don't know the history of the ending of apartheid and how our government stood firmly against Mandela and the ANC with many of the other nations of the Western world.

of this great historical event. They were NOT. And Al and Maxine weren't gonna have any of it!

3. Not only that but Reagan ended slavery and defeated the Nazis!

He was responsible for the Armistice in WWI, the writing and signing of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution, and for the fall of the Roman Empire as well as the Discovery of America.
