Queen 'put pressure on Thatcher' over Mandela - video

Anti-apartheid mediator Michael Young tells Channel 4 News that the Queen asked Margaret Thatcher to "turn down the mood music" on Nelson Mandela.

They were asking Thatcher to be more careful in her public statements, which could be seen as inflamitory. Thatcher, like Reagan, saw Mandela and the reformers as terrorists.
