I hate to wish ill will on anyone but this evil pair is destroying the US and everything it stands for. The country is on the brink of sinking unless they are stopped. They are economic Hitlers. There is not s single thing they are not trying to destroy that helps ordinary people.
They have so many phony foundations out there you cannot even count them.

(3,596 posts)If they do it is highly likely the spawn will be just like the father demons. There are those rare instances where offspring realize the folly of their parents and go in a different direction.
But I have no doubt whether this continues with children or other family running the evil empire, it will continue.

Actually, I would call the billionaire class in general and Wall Street crooks the enemies of the American people.

(2,673 posts)The Koch brothers got their ideology from their father who was a founder of the John Birch Society. The brothers probably have a pack of sons who will take up their mantle once they are gone, plenty of money will be left in the Koch family vault.

(30,673 posts)this mind set will continue to plague mankind until we can gene-engineer the disease out of the population pool. Conservatism is a congenital brain disorder.
But first we have to get people educated enough in the situation to accept that kind of intervention. That is to say, probably never, or at least the social reality which would allow it is appalling and unacceptable.

(53,012 posts)The problem is not them as individuals so much but the system that allows a few wealthy people to exert so much influence. Campaign finance reform, public funding of elections, is the only way to do away with the role that people like the Kochs play in public life.

(10,893 posts)I'm not getting my hopes up, as there are still other overpaid snake-oil salesmen like them, whether it's Limbaugh, Hannity, Adelson, Alex Jones, etc. Add to that the fact that their side almost always shows up for every election, while ours doesn't. In fact, turnout in the average election is said to be less than 50% of all eligible voters. Democrats may have won the past 2 presidential elections, but we still have a problem with much of our base forgetting about midterm elections, and people seemingly unaware that a President needs a Congress in order to get things done.
The struggle is still long from over.
