in exchange for making a business friendly climate for them once he achieved power. His military build up had all the factories humming, Germans working and slave labor from the concentration camps kept profits high. They sort of scratched each other's back.

why this is so true?
Because the entire mainstream media never mentions fascism, they only bad-mouth socialism. Socialism this, socialism that, blah, blah, blah.

In capitalism, if you make money you get to keep it. If you loose money, you go broke or out of business.

In socialism, if you make money, some is skimmed of the top via taxes for the betterment of society (police, roads, schools, etc)
If you loose money, you can declare bankruptcy to protect your family.

In fascism, if you make money you get to keep it. If you loose money, the losses are transferred onto the taxpayers to keep the corporation or banks solvent (Bailout anyone?).
Actually, one could argue that fascism started under Ray-Gun, with his S&L bailouts in the 1980's.
