Set aside the flying, talking horse that travels through time, this would still be a poorly written book. Of course his followers are giving it rave reviews...Adults will enjoy it too!! doncha know.

I usually read all the books my kids read, and let me tell you Rush ain't no Gary Paulsen. Of course the wingnuts would enjoy it. From what I read in the excerpt, despite what reviewers say, this book feeds into the persecution mindset of the right wing.

Excellent for those old and young who have not paid attention to history, will help get you up to speed in a light heart'ed manor that seems like fun.

I bet she would be the first one to claim she is an expert on history and those filthy libruls are morans.

I loved the book! It was awesome. It made me excited to learn history which I never had any interest in before.

Whoever Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bombastus von Hohenheim, is I applaud him/her. He uses a tactic I employ quite often in engaging RW'ers. Make them prove their assertions as fact and not opinion. And do not stop asking them to verify it it no matter how much they try to avoid it with name calling, bringing up different points that have nothing to do with the original debate, getting off subject, and moving the goalposts.

It drives them insane.


From other reviews I have read, even some Rush followers are upset with his product placement in the book. Two if by tea, company.
