Cheap Trick is 4th act to cancel SeaWorld performance

A fourth band scheduled to perform at SeaWorld Orlando's Bands, Brews and BBQ Festival in 2014 has dropped out of the lineup, WKMG-Channel 6 is reporting.

Cheap Trick, scheduled to perform Feb. 8, has followed Barenaked Ladies, Willie Nelson and Heart in canceling their performances, the news station has reported.

Though the three other acts said they bowed out amid online pressure prompted by the documentary "Blackfish," which is critical of the park's treatment of killer whales, Cheap Trick has not officially explained the cancellation.

They were opening for L.A. Guns, if anybody remembers them.

I've evolved past hair metal since then, but I may dust off the old vinyl in tribute...

and thoroughly enjoyed their early stuff.

Have seen Cheap Trick 4x and they are one of the few bands that seems to get better as time goes on. I know that they'll succumb to Father Time like all of us do, but they've fought the hell out of him so far. Now I have an urge to crank up "Stop This Game" real loud.

This is good! Kudos to those musicians who have cancelled their performances. I love Willie and he is always socially conscious!

I hope this (and more) will encourage Sea World to change its policies. I thought Blackfish was very well done.
