(8,170 posts)those gentlemen are deeply appreciative of male beauty. If my scurrilous suggestion was correct the problem they would face is that the faith of the pictured males is utterly wrong. Of course I could have said that it would be a good present for Paris Hilton, Eddie Izzard and Ian Mckellen but as there is no chance at all that these last are in denial about their sexuality that would not have been amusing.

(146,286 posts)I thought you were perhaps making some sort of implication that the people you mentioned were gay. Oddly enough, all are people much disliked here on DU. The association confused me, since it seemed like you were somehow implying that being gay was a bad thing in some way.

It's particularly painful when that homophobia is due to self-hatred turned outward.
