Now there's an idea!

hough hes only 36 years old, David Changs culinary talents are already somewhat legendary. Under the umbrella of his Momofuku restaurant group, Chang presides over some of the worlds best eateries, including Momofuku Noodle Bar, Momofuku Ssäm Bar, Má Pêche, Milk Bar and Momofuku Ko in New York City, Momofuku Seiōbo in Sydney, and Momofuku Noodle Bar Nikai, Daishō and Shōtō in Toronto. Additionally, he launched a food magazine, Lucky Peach, in 2011 and its possible youve seen him on HBOs Treme and/or on Top Chef.
That said, Changs passion for food might be only rivaled by his passion for football. The Virginia native who attended Georgetown Prep is a big Washington Redskins fan, and, needless to say, like most Redskins fan he has had enough of incompetent/arrogant Redskins owner Dan Snyder. So last night Chang made a proposal via Twitter: try to use Kickstarter to raise enough money to make Snyder an offer he cant refuse.

The NFL currently does not allow any team to be publicly owned other than the Packers (because it scared the hell out of the other owners how well the Packers work without big money behind them -- no comparable market has a team).
That said, my own belief is that once the NFL was shown the money, they'd toe the line.

(5,963 posts)10. Love my publicly owned Packers.
Am a part owner myself, in fact.
Wish the NFL would allow similar set ups elsewhere.

And then we could get rid of the ridiculous "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim" name and let the teambe publicly run a la the Packers.
