The owner (who was in the process of selling the place) is a "Trucking Magnate". Also rumored to be a major dealer, lots of loud parties with ladies with high price tags and people involved in "international shipping". The owner might be stupid himself, leaving tacky expensive stuff to impress in a mansion he no longer lives in, but there might be a price for "disrespecting" him and his property.

12. I hope the police ask the owner how he happened to have a stuffed snow leopard,

which is a critically endangered species and can't be sold legally. That said, those kids were unbelievably lacking in decency and common sense. And as bad as it was to have trashed someone's house, taking selfies was a stupid touch.
