Some brutal Honesty regarding republican trolls EVERYWHERE

Credit goes to Cristina Le, creator of Republican Family Values on Facebook. Epic, epic rant ahead.

SOUND OFF!
via Cristina Le:

I think it's time for some brutal honesty. Now this is for the Tea-Partiers who seem to find their way on this page. What is it you really want? You seem to get rabidly upset at the idea of a kid eating his mac & cheese bought on food stamps. You blame the poor, you blame the women, you blame the minority groups. You always say "Be self-sufficient ! Get a job!" etc. And yet you also support budget cuts to things like education, healthcare, and good nutrition. I'd like to point out a few things about that. First of all education is the foundation of self-sufficiency in today's world. I'm not even sure you can flip burgers without at least a High School Diploma. If you're telling a poor person that they're lazy at the same time you're cutting off what might be their only opportunity to be self-sufficient you're kind of defeating the purpose of your initial gripe. A sickly and malnourished child will grow up to be an unhealthy adult who will also have trouble functioning in a work force. If some kid from a poor family living in some inner city wants the education to be something and you cut him or her off at the pass by taking money for education and good health then how can you blame that kid for not trying?

You blame women for having babies when they're broke but you also deny that women should have access to birth-control, sex education, and yes even abortions. You just say "don't have sex" now come on people! You have to know that people have been having pre-marital sex since...well for as long as humans have existed. You know people aren't really going to stop having sex because you told them to. But maybe the 14yr old mother wasn't actually anticipating her rape. Now you have a 14yr old with a baby you FORCED her to have(talk about the poor gal being raped again by society) and legally she's too young to work. What's she going to do? More importantly where's your "Safe Haven" sign for unfortunate young women like her? Oh yeah that's right...not your kid, not your problem right? Okay let's move on...

You blame minorities like African Americans, and Latinos. Far be it from ME to point out that the African Americans are here because YOUR ancestors kidnapped their ancestors and forced them to come here to work for a whipping and a plate of rotten pork entrails. And the Latinos are in fact direct descendants of the people you stole this land from in the first place. But you think that somehow YOU are entitled to have your cake and eat it too. You think that how you look or what you have makes you the masters who should never be questioned. I've got news for you, it doesn't work that way. You are no more human, deserving or entitled to anything in this country. Just because you think you're superior doesn't mean that you actually are superior. You really created this mess that you gripe so loudly about, but you fail to see that you spilled the milk.

So what is it you REALLY want? You don't want your tax money paying for government assistance but you also want to take away any opportunity for people to better themselves so that they won't need the assistance. What do you really want? What is it about us that scares you so much? You know before the Conquistadors and Columbus the Native Americans(who are the ancestors of the Mexicans you hate so much) were doing just peachy. Once the European interlopers got here it all fell to shit pretty quickly. You killed most of the Native Americans, and placed the rest into filthy squalors you call Reservations. And of course all of the immigrants from other countries didn't start getting here until after your ancestors did. Again I ask what you really want out of all of this.

Do you really want people to get out of whatever holes they're in or do you just want us to die off and not exist at all? Because apparently you're implying that unless we're born into opportunity or opportunity just happens to miraculously materialize out of thin air than we don't deserve to have an opportunity. Why is that? Maybe you think your God's punishing us for our heathen existences by cursing us to live and die in poverty. So what did you do to be born into God's favor that the rest of us didn't? I mean if there's some reason why you think you're the only ones entitled to rights, opportunities, and privileges we'd sure like to know what you're doing that makes you so special and so favored. Do we not have the qualifications to be American? What ARE the qualifications of a REAL American? You seem to think you know that answer. So tell us the truth.I admit I can be very blunt, big-mouthed, and hot-headed but you will ALWAYS get what I believe is the truth from me. And if somebody can prove my truth is false than I will certainly admit I was wrong and see what another way is. So now tell us what's your truth?
Can you do that?

Bravo Christina, very well written, couldn't have summed it up better myself.

He said that Obama didn't produce his birth certificate.

I said he did.

He said "No, it was a copy!"

I told him that he couldn't show me his (birther's) birth certificate.

He said "Yes I can!"

I said, no, because it's a copy. The original is on file in X.

He told me I could go to X to view the original.

I told him by that logic, he had to go to Hawaii to see Obama's original B.C.

At that point, he told me to self-fornicate.

...the socialist crap, etc. is all a cover for what they really think. Fortunately what they really think isn't socially acceptable, even down here in the south. They disliked Clinton, but not nearly to this level of hate. When you back them into a corner, which isn't hard to do, it always comes down to "he's a black guy in the White House." I've been in a couple of those "conversations" where it devolved to me telling them to just admit it...they hate the guy because he's black. They of course go nutzoid at that point. The fact is, deep down they're racists, but don't have the gumption to openly admit it. I have more respect for the stormfront nut jobs. At least their honest about their bigotry. No pretzel twisted, illogical arguments as socially acceptable cover for what they really think.

The only part of government they really hate is that part that helps the poor and minorities. Even though they are "afraid" the government is coming to take their guns, they vote for the worlds most technologically advanced and bloated military. Why? Because that is not the "government" they want to fight. It is the "government" that forced desegregation.
I need to track down and permanently bookmark the post that had Lee Atwater talking about how they had to transition from saying "N.. N.." to "welfare, welfare" because that is the bottom line.

Teabaggers claim to be for small government, but vote to have government intrusion in every aspect of people lives, teabaggers are the ultimate big government freaks. Teabaggers love to claim how successful they are, but live in the poorest states and depend upon the most government assistance. Teabaggers are useless, the faster they get pushed to the sidelines, the better for the country.

Glad you're here. So totally well said, I would agree!

I think it boils down to a simple fact that the baggers can't stand: there's a black guy in the Oval Office and he isn't the janitor. And applying the zero-sum-game theory, I guess it means if Barack Obama got into the Oval Office, that somehow reflects poorly on them. Go figure. That makes as much sense as any of their "logic." Their racism and willful ignorance just utterly astounds me - and makes me feel ill. And their phony-ass, made-up, bent version of "Christianity," too!

As a life-long Catholic who spent all 14 years of her primary and secondary education in Catholic school, I cannot for the life of me remember ANY time during my catechism or Scriptural study classes wherein Jesus was ever quoted as saying "if you don't work, you don't eat." I never remember Him quoted as saying "render to both Caesar and God all things together." I never remember Him quoted as saying "blessed are the war-makers" or "blessed are the rich." I never remember Him saying to the rich young man who came to ask Him about how you get into Heaven - to go out and get richer! I never remember him driving the poor and destitute out of the Temple, or teaching with parables about how the Heavenly Father smiled down on the wealthy and pompous show-off swaggering down the center aisle of the Temple to present a pile of money so everybody could see and admire, while at the same time sneering and condemning the humble poverty-stricken widow hiding in the shadows, who had only a small coin or two to contribute. NEVER! Never EVER!!! But if you believe any of the modern-day Pharisees trying to teach and interpret His word, that's how their version of "Jesus" operated. Their version of "Jesus" is cruel, non-compassionate, condemning, and divisive - just like they are.

I also was raised a Catholic and attended Catholic grade and middle school. My sister was a nun and eventually left. She is now married to an ex-priest. (They met after they both left the clergy) That said, there is nothing Christian or even spiritual about the Right Wing machine. They are a hateful, spiteful abomination on this country. Their treatment of the least of us speaks volumes about their hearts. They will get their just rewards whether it be a vengeful God or just Karma. It's too bad that so many have to suffer in the meantime.

I have said in the past that I think President Obama might be the best president this country has ever had, given the overt racism he has had to endure, and yet still move forward. Just think what could have happened if the blatant obstructionism had not been the order of the day. And yet, we cannot just lay this at the feet of the Tea Party. They could not have succeeded without the comfort and aid of the rest of the Republican party. We need to work very hard to get them out of power and take back our country and our souls.

Every word. Bravo!!!!! Couldn't have stated it any better. Totally spot-on. And all things considered, I agree with you that President Obama might just be one of the best, if not the best, of presidents in history. Up there with Roosevelt, and hopefully FAR more transformational in the long run than ronald reagan ever purported to be. I'm hoping that President Obama leads the way to the REAL transformation this country needs - AWAY from the damnable, contemptible, disgraceful, disgustingly unfair, and thoroughly UN-Christian blight of reagan. That ALL has to be undone and rolled back and reversed. BIGTIME. ALL of it. FOREVER. And do what the Romans did to Carthage after they burned it down to the ground: sow the earth it stood upon with salt, so nothing more will grow there. That's what I hope to see done with the abomination of reaganomics. NOTHING good came of it and a whole lot of detestable ICK got spawned.

They think that somebody's else's gain will always be their loss. That's the crazy fear that drives them, and that's why they don't want to feed or educate poor people. If someone else gets a few bucks more in minimum wage, it means (to them) that they will get a few less; or will have less prestige, or less one-upsmanship in the game of life. They need to think of themselves as better than someone else, even if they're pretty near the bottom of the totem pole. They need someone to be lower.

If someone else learns to read or calculate, they'll look just a bit dumber (or their kids will lose a spot in college to someone else; the less educated everyone else is, the better their mediocre kid will look). That's what they're afraid of.

My mother is a birther/tea partier. She cheers cutting unemployment benefits needed by many of my former co-workers. (Company I worked for for 13 years went bankrupt last year and approximately 640 of the 700 employees lost work at different stages through the year.) She's posted many comments throughout the year saying that the long term unemployed are losers we should just cut off.  She refuses to acknowledge that anyone could have their job offshored and not be able to find a comparable job and benefits within one year. She resents the idea that any of her tax money would go to help anyone on unemployment or needing food stamps. And she cheers cutting education funds that benefit the inner city school my children go to. She also champions cutting entitlements like SS and Medicare for future generations like mine and my children.
She does all this as an upper middle class housewife who has never had to work, who grew up poor on welfare, who collects SS. But she sent us a nice card for the holidays wishing us happiness and hope signed love mom.
Tea party folk are disconnected from the reality of their theories and supported policies.

I've seen it on FB, and also from several people I have had heated discussions with. One older man spewed almost the same thing as your mother. It didn't occur to him that he was depending on SS and if he had his way, he'd lose it. I asked him what his solution was, and he said, "poor farms". When I told him then he'd have to work on the "poor farm," he looked at me mouth agape and eyes vacant.

You are right, they are disconnected from the reality of their theories. For some reason, that I have yet to figure out, they cannot see how their polices would effect their loved ones, or even themselves.

I would to understand their reasoning better.

But I do agree with some of the criticism. It is too long and logical for some to read and understand. Racism is at the root of much of the problem. Ignorance and meanness are a terrible combination. Of course the fact that all this is fueled by some very rich white people makes things worse.

I would love to know the average annual income, education level and government programs they receive of those who call themselves members of the Tea Party. Can they explain how rich mouths like Limbaugh have helped their lives? Can they not understand that we think no better of them than most people do of the Westboro "Church" members? I am pretty sure you would not get many conservative Republicans to support picketing soldiers funerals. It is intolerable, but I consider the hatred of the President, the birthers, cutting food stamps and education funds as bad as the actions of those Westboro folks.

Oh, rats, I have gone on to long...... no one who needs to read this has that attention span.

to talk to. They have made up their minds and nothing, not even the truth, is going to chance their minds.

I was reading a local online forum, and a tea bagger commented that the US needs one hundred more like Ted Cruz or the country was doomed. I joined in the online conversation and facts be damned, nothing was going to chance his mind.

This is a typical teabagger.

Most teabaggers are to stupid to realize that they are being used. You almost have to feel sorry for them because they are protesting the things that benefit them or will benefit them.

Prayer in school, prayer everywhere. We've lost our way as a Christian nation. As soon as we all find Jesus, all will be well.
That's the Word from my tea bagger in-laws.
No Christian tea bagger in my family would see themselves in this rant.

The world is scary and complicated. Pray it away.

Tea party hatred for others has evolved from a false religious doctrine the gospels by Paul who believes faith grace can save a person and you have been preordained for heave at birth and non compliance to the laws of god do not pertain to Gentiles (Christians ) followers of Paul. I believe their is a new voice for the poor who is now speaking for them on a worldly stage!

They'll say either ( or both, their memories are so short )

-- "Get a job you lazy bums, I'm tired of my tax money supporting you"

-- "It's Obama's fault there's an unemployment problem....blah blah blah"

So which is it? They can't have it both ways.

Though a good one, I wish the rant went a bit further: How can conservatives castigate people for being unemployed ( or underemployed and poor and thus needing assistance ) when it's the very economic policies that put downward pressure on labor and/or offshoring that they push with a fervor that CREATED the loss of employment!?

I know racism and troglodytic social issue memes serve to affect their thinking but regarding econmics, it's such a clear cut case event the most hate-filled ignoramus can see it.

So it's past time to acknowledge that fact - they should be made to answer that one - but they don't.

They want to pretend they did it all by themselves, not true.

Other than that, it covers just about all points.

I always hear teabaggers and conservatives say that they work hard so that I don't have to and that their hard earned tax dollars go to support liberals on government programs. The truth is that the Red States get the most tax dollars. They'll bristle when you tell them this and claim that it's due to heavy populations of African-Americans, but what's the excuse of states with low minority populations like the Dakotas and Montana? The Bible Belt Red States have the most teen pregnancies, the most divorces and single parents, the most hits of gay porn and bestiality on the internet and other such "deviant" behavior. They have the most poverty and use of anti-depressants and cases of spousal abuse. All this information is available to anyone that wants to google it. They're the ones that carry on about being such great shining moral examples when they're the biggest hypocrites of all. Something about complaining of motes and ignoring beams.

They know they are complete morons who can't spell, can't read, can't work a computer, can't even drive very well (hence their going to marvel at other people driving in a circle, aka NASCAR)

Bottom line, their argument is; "If a complete IDIOT like them can make it then what the HELL is wrong with YOU?"

That's when they do the REALLY annoying construct where they claim they are "blessed" so you must have done something really sinful to piss off God and you are being punished with poverty. Be it drugs or "lose morals".

Keep in mind that we still have people who believe God is in the sky in Heaven and if you dig a hole too deep you will hit Hell which is "down below". These people are the types that actually believe God is watching EVERYTHING you do and will hit you with a bolt of lightning for cussing. They have been indoctrinated by the Right Wing to believe their little piece of self centered white suburbia with it's lawn by Ortho is "Real America" and that they really believe they are sending over half of their income to Washington and MOST of that money is going into welfare so "lazy people" (guess what color?) can kick back, smoke crack, and watch cable TV.

But, they refuse to believe it. If I had a dime for every Republican that's barely making subsistence wages, but still insists that he's middle class, I could go on a Caribbean cruise. They detest the poor so deeply and the stigma of being poor is so great, that to admit that they themselves actually are poor would be like admitting they were Marxist sympathizers or worse. I live in Texas, where I've heard conservatives who live in trashed trailer parks and worked stocking shelves at Walmart claim to be middle class.

Sun Dec 15, 2013, 06:05 PM

The poll showed that 30% of Americans thought they were in the top 5%

Fox "News" was telling their sheep that the million dollars was total assets. IOW: Your house, your car, your Walmart DVD player,...everything.

It's hard for most Americans to visualize making a million dollars a year EVERY YEAR much less to make it every month/week/day/hour.

If you are in this situation and everyone you know is in the same situation and you aren't exposed to anyone outside of your limited circle that you tend to project that EVERYONE is in the same situation.

It's main topic is the fact that there are people out there aggressively defending the abuses of the ruling class as if it is a virtue. They consider it to be either a religious doctrine or patriotic or both in a warped mishmash. They feel if you attack the rich you should be punished and they feel the rich are under attack by enemies of the United States or enemies of God.

This kind of thing only started in the post WWII Cold War Era. These idiots still believe they are in an epic battle with The classic "Godless Commie".

"Loser."

I love how Republicans think that you tackle the problem of a hungry child by giving tax breaks to corporations so that MAYBE they will invest in new business (instead of giving bonuses to shareholders) and MAYBE they will hire some workers (from America) and MAYBE they will pay a living wage (if they're forced to) so that MAYBE a few pennies will trickle into a community where that hungry child lives (if the child is still alive).

I remember Jesus' parable of the good Samaritan. After finding the beaten, starving man on the roadside, the Samaritan lobbied his Congressperson to cut funding for aid and food programs so that the victim would be incentivized to no longer be a victim. Isn't that how Jesus told it?

The rightwingnutregressiveteavangelimpuglicants I endure always reduce their arguments to "choices". that "other" made all the wrong ones according to them. cause you know every ill on the planet started with
one of those "others" making a choice.
choose to be born to a poor family.
choose to be born handicapped.
choose to be born a color
choose to be born short
choose to be born female
choose to be born gay
choose to be hit by a drunk driver
choose to be shot
choose to be jailed while poor
choose to be born into a poor neighborhood
choose to be born into a poor school district
choose to be born without familial resources
choose to be raped
choose to be molested
choose to be impregnated
choose to be married
choose to be divorced
choose to not go to college
choose to run up debt to get a degree
choose to not find a job
choose to have their job outsourced
choose to work for an iffy company
choose to have their employer close the company
choose to get old
choose to become obsolete
choose to lose a spouse
choose to eat instead of saving
choose to feed their family instead of saving
choose the wrong 401k option
choose to get burned by a big bank
choose to not find Jesus
choose to find Jesus in the wrong denomination
choose to attempt the 'merkin dream
choose to abandon the 'merkin dream.

get the picture? why should they "pay" - after all NO ONE EVER
helped them. nope, not one tax benefit, not one public program
not one public school, or tax paid teacher influenced one thing
they ever did. they never took advantage or most likely took for
granted the laws on the books that protect their lives or money or
futures. and they will look you straight in the eye and say "but not
you". it's some random "other" they have never seen. not your mother
or your brother - you're the "good" other.

Here is where you curse the ghost of Lee Atwater. and hope he's rotting in some really hot ring of Dante's hell for unleashing this "other-hating"

These Neanderthals are pathetic. they don't know they are being manipulated and like trained chimps pencil in the circle on the ballot as they are told. If corporations ever get the vote, those poor lab chimps will be dumped in a nano second.

there are no free alternatives to it for those looking for politics while working or driving.

most of the rant regards standard every day RW radio bullshit that's been blasted from 1200 radio stations for 25 years and the biggest mistake in political history, considering the time lost on global warming, is that dems/liberals/progressives have been giving it a free speech free ride- their carnival barkers scream the think tank-coordinated talking point but NO ONE GETS IN THEIR FACE!

and many of the loudest of those stations (28% + of limbaugh stations) depend heavily on our state funded colleges. in exchange for a few licensing dollars those stations get to put local sports team logos on their megaphones while they attack teachers and public ed and choice and do global warming denial!

Mon Dec 16, 2013, 04:10 AM

I make no excuses for republicans, democrats, independents, decline to states, what have you. The truth is that people are people where ever you go. The American Indians did not live in some type of Hippie Shangri-la before Columbus. It was a hard scrabble life of bitter cold, intense unrelenting heat, rampant disease, crop failures, exterminations of various animal species, and inter/intratribal warfare. Who the heck do you think the Aztec used as sacrifice, not their own, but captured enemy peple. Heck the Sioux didn't even believe other tribes were even people.

The blacks sold each other to the Portuguese for firearms and gunpowder to fight their own wars. Read some history about what the Zulu tribe did in south Africa long before the Europeans arrived.

Face history folks no group has totally clean hands.
