"FOREVER YOUNG" performed by Young@Heart, PS22 Chorus & Sci-Tech Band

My vocabulary is inadequate to properly put a description to the magic that happened onstage as Young@Heart, PS22 Chorus & Sci-Tech Band performed the Bob Dylan classic, "Forever Young" at this concert in Northampton.

Suffice it to say that it was perhaps the most inspiring musical moment any of us on that stage has ever experienced, and obliterates the generation gap in one fell swoop..... Great music is timeless, and this performance will never grow old.

All of these groups have become well-known and have many videos. They sing all types of songs. I have followed them for a while, but this was magic and beyond poignant.

In following Young@Heart, I got to know the performers. Many of them have serious problems. I will receive emails from time to time announcing the death of one of these people. It is expected, but it still hits hard.

In the following video, Fred Knittle sings "Fix You" by Coldplay. It was supposed to be a duet, but his partner died the week before. Fred has also passed. RIP.....
