Turns out Sarah Palin, who has been one of Duck Dynastys biggest defenders, hasnt actually read the GQ interview that includes cast member Phil Robertsons controversial comments on homosexuality and other subjects.
When pressed by Fox News host Greta Van Susteren whether the language Robertson used when talking about his opposition to homosexuality was graphic and offensive, Palin admitted she didnt know what Robertson had said.
I havent read the article. I dont know exactly how he said it, Palin said Monday on Fox Newss On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.
After the GQ interview was published, Palin immediately came to Robertsons defense by posting a statement on Facebook saying it was an issue of free speech and defended his comments in a TV appearance with Sean Hannity.

(50,130 posts)This isn't the first time she has claimed no knowledge of someone's statement (the pope?) and then been only too happy to flap her lips about whatever that person said (that she didn't hear or read).
It's just a ploy.

(30,058 posts)about the same. I watched a couple of shows of DD, it is more than I can handle for a while. I am familiar with the area from which they hail but it is still over the top. I am amazed about the "religious" Phil giving anyone an interview and to give the quote as he did. Again over the top. Does he used the same terms when he is speaking in the churches? If he is I would not want to be listening to him.

They're all fully controlled by a very small group of propagandists but will be the first to tell you what independent thinkers they all are.
The Dunning-Kruger Effect sums them all up quite nicely.

Still, thanks a brazillion, for putting your outspoken personal support as a former Republican Party VP candidate, behind these ugly, tragically racist, homophobic, bigoted comments, and further discrediting the Republican Party.
We Democrats salute your efforts on our behalf!

(145,126 posts)Yall, anytime I get to talk about Sarah Palin is a good time.
She finally admitted that she had not actually read the interview with the Duck Dynasty dude before she defended it.
Really? Sarah Palin not read? Add that to my Shocked, Shocked I Tell You list.

(48 posts)Since she quit her post in Alaska, Palin hasnt run for public office but still plays the part of politician who calls her constituents fans. What exactly does she do other than essentially proposition her self and image to the highest bidder? Sounds like Sarah is Americas highest paid escort! See how down and dirty shell get for the money at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/06/ecstasy-of-sarah-palin_15.html
