WWE Pits 'Good' Black Santa vs. 'Bad' White Santa

You may have thought the battle over Santa’s race was over, but that was before WWE Raw got involved.

On Monday night’s show, WWE presented a black “good Santa” who vanquished the white “bad Santa” in a Christmas brawl for the ages. “Bad Santa’s trying to ruin Christmas for the entire world,” on the announcers said as the villain pulled the star off the top of the tree to use as a weapon. They warned that “Christmas could be canceled” if the bad Santa prevailed.

But in the end it was a massive body slam from good Santa that helped “save Christmas” once and for all:

This isn’t the first time the WWE has capitalized on the controversial world of conservative politics. Before proving Megyn Kelly wrong, the organization got Glenn Beck riled up over its “Real American” tea party villain character.

wife of Vince McMahon and thereby part owner of WWE (worth around $500 mill herself) ran twice for Senator from Connecticut as a fairly conservative Republican. And lost both times.

I'd say that anyone who can make a few hundred million from professional wrestling is a little too slick to fall for Beck's bullshit, but this does also say they won't let politics get in the way of making a buck.

Beck was pissed thinking that they were satirizing something that he had said. He actually blasted Zeb Coulter and Jack Swagger on his show first. Apparently, Beck doesn't know much about pro wrestling and its histrionics.

Didn't expect this out of them.
A good statement to kill that ignorance from Fox News.
The fact that the McMahons are Republicans makes it all the more surprising.
Happily surprised by this move. Good work.

Next step Vince. Let's get another Black man to carry the WWE Heavyweight Championship.
Not the WCW—I mean World Heavyweight Championship AKA the Big Gold Belt.
But the top title in your federation.
There has only been one Black man EVER to hold that title & he is The Rock.

The McMahons'll surprise you sometimes.
People think they're the worst but compared to other promoters in wrestling, they're actually more decent than you think.
They have always tried to take older wrestlers off the road making them wrestle lighter schedules or retire altogether.
They paid for Scott Hall's rehab even though he doesn't work for them anymore.
It's not all scandal about the McMahons.

But I would never trust them in government.
They belong right there in the world of pro wrestling.

P.S. Good show Mark Henry! The dreads are gone. Wow!
