Who is Brian Schweitzer?

Policy and image

...He has endorsed an expansion of wind, solar, and biofuel technologies as well as a plan to turn coal into diesel fuel.[23] Schweitzer has pointed out that Montana has had the highest ending fund balances in the state’s history under his administration, with an average ending fund balance of $414 million. The average balance of the eighteen years prior was $54 million....

He was my gov, he was okay, got what he could done and vetoed a lot of BS the R legislature was trying to foist on us. I think he could have done more but, oh well. I wish he would run for that assbite Baucus' seat, we need someone like him (Schweitzer) in the Senate, at least he has something resembling a spine. Maybe he could help the few real representative Senators shake it up there. I don't think he has a chance at the WH if he chose to run for that. It might buff up his resume but that would be it.

He has precious little chance against the Clinton's infrastructure and cash access but if he can drag the debate further populist great.

I heard him relate the real problem with congress so clearly, as in how is somebody going to vote against some interest on Friday if he took cash from him three days before. Legalized bribery, there is your political reality 2014 - and big business has deeper pockets than almost all of us.
