Newly minted New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio offered to strip for reporters Friday at a press conference about the winter storm that had just nailed the region.

De Blasio made his indecent proposal when asked how many layers he was wearing by CBS Radio's Rich Lamb. According to Politicker, de Blasio responded by "dramatically unzipping his jacket to show off his shirt."

"Do you want me to go farther, Rich?” de Blasio said. "I have an undershirt also."

1. I had four shirts and a puffy coat with hood today, and a watch cap.

And two pairs of trousers. And boots. And insulated gloves!

I needed 'em.

2. About 48 here on my patio in Houston. I'm wearing flannel pjs, sweat pants, t-shirt...

... sweat shirt, TWO hoodies, and gloves.

And I'm still cold.

I know that it's not as cold here as it is on the east coast but when a person is used to summers over 100 degrees it feels cold when it gets in the 40s and 30s here.

I thought I was gonna die from the heat. When I left several years later, I was wearing sweaters at night!

I like my back porch in the evenings, too, year-round. In the winters I use electric blankets & pillows to stay warm.

Never in my wildest dreams when younger would I have ever thought that when I became this old (50s) that I'd be banned from smoking in the house - LOL
