Obamacare is rapidly disappearing as an issue for Republicans.

It's not that "Obamacare" is such an overwhelming success, it is that the Republicans have offered no rational alternative.

Their latest charge against Obamacare is that ER visits have increased by 40% with the newly insured, most of them on Medicaid. "See! We told you these grifters would take advantage of the system", they bellow! They see it as a failure that more sick people are going to the ER.

Some might see it as working just as it was planned. Sick people can now see a doctor, even if it is in an Emergency Room. It will take time to educate people that they are now able to see their own personal physician. But it is not a negative, it is a positive.

Also, millions of people have signed up for the new ACA and millions more are expected by the end of March, the cut-off date for this year. So, why should the Republicans be concerned?

Because these millions of families now getting healthcare thru the Medicaid extension of the ACA are mostly in "blue" states. Most of the folks without any coverage for their families are mainly in "red" states, ran by Republican Governors. If these folks start asking questions, these red state politicians could be on a very hot seat.
