(28,784 posts)I hate that people's names get used in full in reports like this, even if they are proven guilty in the end. In some European countries (Holland comes to mind), only people's first name and initial are used. Seems much more just to me. What if the guy has mental issues that require treatment? Should his unfortunate media coverage follow him for the rest of his life, affecting his job prospects and further impacting his mental state? Anyway, this is not aimed at the OP but at the way the media covers these things.
