U.S. To Support Fight On Al Qaeda In Iraq Without Troops: Kerry

http://www.businessinsider.com/us-to-support-fight-on-al-qaeda-in-iraq-without-troops-kerry-2014-1

(Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry voiced confidence on Sunday the Iraqi government and tribes would be successful in their fight against al Qaeda, and said Washington was not considering sending troops back to Iraq.

Sectarian and ethnic tensions have risen in Iraq since the U.S. withdrawal in December 2011, inflamed by the conflict in neighboring Syria, where mainly Sunni rebels are trying to oust President Bashar al-Assad, who is backed by Shi'ite Iran.

The Iraqi army has joined forces with local tribesmen to battle al Qaeda, which has teamed up with groups of Syrian rebels to try to create across the Iraqi-Syrian border a state based on strict medieval Sunni Islamic practice.

"This is a fight that belongs to the Iraqis ... We are not contemplating returning." Kerry told reporters during a visit to Israel. "We will help them in their fight, but this fight, in the end, they will have to win and I am confident they can."

Who knows what they've got going on in that "embassy".

It can house thousands, has an olympic size swimming pool and a luxurious food court and much more.

Food court has an interesting feature.

On the ceiling in the centre is a HUGE flag of the USA. All around the USA flag are much smaller flags of the rest of the World =

message much?

Cost - only 3/4 billion dollars - operating budget? We'll never know.

OH

Most of the news and pix of the underground roads from the airport to the castles, and Saddam's underground bunkers disappeared shortly after the invasion began.

I hate to think what the MIC and PNAC gangs have done down there. It would not surprise me one bit to discover the US had smuggled nukes in during the invasion.

And I wonder how long we have to wait to find out.

then basically create a situation for the largest nation-state terrorist training camp to grow and flourish,

then we tell them, "sorry, youse guys are on your own."

this country deserves whatever it gets.
