attack. I remember a decade ago when every thread was about abortion and women's reproductive rights. Then it progressed to other things like death rights, gender issue and so on. Now they want to attack woo whatever that is (stupid word that defines nothing) because I believe they are going down the list of evil doers, uppity women who want to kill babies, mercy killers, gays, Catholics and now they are attacking those whom they perceive as devil worshipers, the spiritualist community under the label of woo. Makes you wonder who really is into woo because there is no devil. They claim to be scientific thinkers but their closed, uninquiring minds show them not to be scientific thinkers at all. There is only one community that abhors all of the above and those are conservative religious thinkers. I think that is the source.

of it like that, but you are onto something. The anti-woo arguments are so strident, immovable and sterile. The pro-woos seem much more amenable to others opinions and respect those choices. I'm a bit of both I suppose, more supportive of woo than not.

You're right about there being only one group that hates all you've listed and that would include the fundamentalists of several religions. I'd never considered that fundamentalists would be active here.
