To his old friends it's Mike and it's pronounced "Shoemaker". He was our class president in 1979 at Lewiston High School in Lewiston, Idaho. He's a really great guy and not even a little bit of a glory hound or snob in any way. What he's accomplished isn't even a little bit of a surprise to us that knew him growing up.
