The hot tub on Eliot Spitzer and Lis Smith's Jamaica trip was pretty tepid stuff

Former Love Gov Eliot Spitzer and new gal pal Lis Smith celebrated the New Year in Jamaica, where scandal tried to follow them. But this time, tales of kinky Spitzer escapades ring untrue.

The rapidly imploding down-market New York Post reported on its front page Tuesday that Spitzer and Smith were “spied frolicking” in a public hot tub Sunday at 4 p.m. Client 9 was allegedly “sucking on her toes” while she sat topless in broad daylight.

The Post’s eyes and ears for their big scoop? An unnamed 10-year-old boy who allegedly shouted, “Mom there’s an old guy in the Jacuzzi with this girl and she’s topless and she’s got her legs wrapped around him.”

A rep for the Half Moon hotel in Montego Bay said they’d had no complaints.

His near comeback .... close second in NYC comptroller's race... was to them the scariest scene since Glenn Close came back from the dead in Fatal Attraction.
