WARNING: GRAPHIC dog torturer faces felony charges up to 55 or 60 years in prison; held without bail
Year old Puppy Doe (Kiya) was found abandoned by the side of a road, starved to half normal weight for her age, with crush fractures to her spine, fractures to her skull, fractured ribs, burns on her nose, stabbed in her right eye, and her tongue split "like a serpent." Furthermore, according to the attending veterinarian, she had been subject to medieval torture on a racklike device and had her joint bones pulled apart. She was unable to stand. The injuries were at various stages of healing, making it clear the torture took place over months. The vet determined her injuries were so severe that she would not be able to spend a life without pain. She spent her last hours on pain killers and was euthanized with "a belly full of kibble."
The vile, subhuman, despicable piece of shit that did this to her has been charged with 11 counts of felony cruelty to animals, each of which carries up to 5 year sentence, and 1 count of misleading police. He claimed to have seen kids with the dog in the woods on the day she was found.
His next court appearance will be on February 11. The police expect to file additional charges against him relating to the theft of $150-200K from the 90+ year old woman he was hired to care for, along with $6,000 that went missing from a church. He dumped the puppy on the day that woman died. He is in the US illegally from Poland.
