5. Hell-o Doc. Christie quo vadis?

Another very good collection. Again, i have appreciated the gathering, well before i started posting hereabouts.

It was well publicised at the time of Christie's previous campaign, that he enjoyed the exercise of his temper and privilege of power. There was an incident where he used a government heliocopter(?), aeroplane(?) to arrive at his child's ballgame. When that was made public, he reimbursed the state. Do i remember correctly? Well, my point is this is just one uncovered instance that has caught the press' (and comedians) attention; but it is a pregnant source for comedy and lampooning cartoons. (i have no tears for him). David Letterman got a few good shots in last night, far better and relevant than the fatty putdowns.

Is the New Jersey voter experiencing "buyer's remorse"? They just purchased the same product again.

I have to believe Christie's clout in Jersey has been diminished. But it is relatively rare for a Republican to resign or have more than a verbal hand slap. The activist Republicans applaud boorish, and even vicious, behaviour of their own in power. Christie was salivating for the presidency. The ultra-conservatives did not care for any minor moderating intimations from him before, and now the swayable middle of America has seen him under an examining light.
