(268,949 posts)it's clearly protect the ReTHUG time.
What disturbed me was that hack Gregory allowed them to raise the iRS, Benghazi and Obamacare as red herrings.
Why are we surprised at the rot that poses as the corporate media.

(46,700 posts)I offer this one from an OS reader:
Actually I sort of like Chris Christie. He comes across as petty and bullying, but that is part of his brand. At least his "brand" also has a history of fighting against corruption. Being mean-spirited doesn't really hurt you that bad if you have the right enemies. This particular vendetta was wrong, but some of the others were not.
This issue will die down, and soon be forgotten. I would much prefer the Sentinel focus on issues that relate to our lives in a more direct way. Where does he stand, for example, on womens rights? Or the war in Afghanistan, for example.
Immigration? Income inequality? Healthcare? Domestic spying? Bank bailouts? Federal Reserve policies? Someone who reads newspapers could be forgiven for not knowing where Christie actually stands on the issues.
By concentrating on a single mistake, we polarize the nation into people who are either "for" or "against" the person, without any understanding as to what he might be able to do for (or against) the country

I don't know. But it sounds like that's what that reader is trying to suggest.

(30,058 posts)Santorum, Gringrich, Paul and Perry and they chose Romney. WTH. With Cruz and Rubio already lining up on the radical right, I would expect Scott Walker to be in along with Rand Paul, Bobby Jindal and Sarah Palin. I do not at this point see how Christie will get through the primaries. If he comes out of bridgegate without too many injuries and the GOP decides they are kicking the rascals out and seriously going to try to win the presidency, then Christie might get the opportunity.
