SCOTUS rejects review of AZ abortion law

(CNN) - The Supreme Court struck down Arizona's appeal concerning a controversial abortion law.

The high court refused to review the case and did not comment on the decision.

The move means Arizona cannot enforce its 2012 ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy.

The decision follows a Federal Appeals Court ruling last year that found the restrictions were unconstitutional.
