Governor Christie calls gay lawmaker NUMB NUTS!!!

I grew up in Jersey and it was a common phrase when I was in high school. At least back then... It meant 'stupid' and I do not recall it ever being used as an anti-gay slur.

We used to do Tony Chestnuts in gym back in the day.

Toe--touch your toes

Knee--touch your knees

Chest--touch your chest

Nuts--touch your head

Faster, and faster, and faster in class. It was a "warm up" exercise. What we were warming up for? I have no idea.

That said, Christie is no longer in elementary school.
