Chris Christie calls federal Sandy money probe 'routine and standard'

i bet he does....

TRENTON — Gov. Chris Christie has released a statement in response to today’s announcement that federal auditors are investigating the administration’s use of federal Hurricane Sandy aid money for an advertising campaign, featuring the governor and his family.

Calling the announcement “conveniently timed,” Christie spokesman Colin Reed said:

“The Stronger Than The Storm campaign was just one part of the first action plan approved by the Obama Administration and developed with the goal of effectively communicating that the Jersey Shore was open for business during the first summer after Sandy. Federal agency reviews are routine and standard operating procedure with all federally allocated resources to ensure that funds are distributed fairly. We're confident that any review will show that the ads were a key part in helping New Jersey get back on its feet after being struck by the worst storm in state history.”

This is not a "review." This is an investigation from the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Office of Inspector General conducts investigations when there is sufficient evidence of wrongdoing.

Christie and his office are in panic mode.

Hey, hey, hey,
my heart goes out
to poor poor poor Governor Christie,
That vengeful arrogant bully
will probably close the borders
of his little kingdom --again--
when he hears about this!
How DARE they question him!
REVENGE!
I can just see the good Governor right now.
Having one of his childish temper tantrums.
Bouncing up and down, up and down, up and down.
Like a big, red-faced, rubber ball.
Bounce, bounce, bounce ...ready to burst.
And crying wah, wah, wah.
All the way home.....
Home?
Yes, it IS time for you to go home sir,
and stop inflicting yourself
on the people of New Jersey.
