I'm sure you know that polling doesn't involve calling over 300 million people, no?
And Snowden IS a Whistle Blower, I don't think we needed polls to know that anyhow.
Would you care to define what you view as a Whistle Blower?

(55,445 posts)I have a hundred criticisms and twice as many still-unanswered questions related to how Snowden has conducted his campaign, and even I've always said he was a whistle-blower...
The only people I've ever seen *not* calling him a whistle-blower are a few congresscritters, some hack columnists, and PR flaks from the DoD....

He's done a great service. I hope he's able to find a nice warm country to live in and the Feds never get their hands on him.

47% say Obama should not drop his pursuit of Snowdon vs. 39%
Guess that how polls work

(31,211 posts)that out. Only 39% think the government should not pursue him criminally. It could be that the American people have a problem with his "freedom" route. Those bastions of human rights, ya know like China & Russia? No matter what they think of him "blowing" his whistle, there's still some discomfort about what he may have "blown" to the Chinese and the Russians. That three day black hole where it's suspected he was holed up in the Russian consulate is a real bone of contention for many.
By the way, some real "whistleblowers" have a few questions for Comrade Snowden: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1017165892
