Some Things Said By Robert Gates About Obama on Fox, Contrary To What Fox Wants People To Believe
Over the past few days, most of the media, especially Fox, has been using excerpts from Former Secretary Robert Gates' new book to characterize President Obama in a negative way, however, just now in an interview with Sean Hannity, Gates had a good deal of praise for President Obama.
He called the President's surge decision a "courageous decision."
He said "I will give him credit" for publically making the case for U.S. involvement in Afghanistan during the early years of his Presidency.
He praised the President for "making decisions he stuck to," which included the surge and sticking with the 2014 withdrawal date, and for these reasons, he felt "comfortable working for him."
Practically every time Hannity tried to get Gates to criticize Pres. Obama, Gates did not.
