People who cry that the president should do a FDR and use the bully-pulpit, fail to recognize that there isn't one anymore.

The last thing Corporate America and Koch Bros types want, is an informed and educated electorate. That would threaten their scheme of taking over the United States by proxy (paid pols in our gov't), our rights, our protections, and our democracy while we sleep.

haters are just gonna hate no matter what, JoePhilly. I wonder if there's a cure for ODS, let alone extreme ODS? Outside of the inevitable "cure" on January 20, 2017, that is.

And yes, it will advance to HDS and then extreme HDS in the second term.

NPR carried the entire talk. Some stations may have opted not to air it, as that's their decision to make.

Not contributing to your local station if you don't like their coverage is likely the best thing you could do. But NPR is one thing and your local station is another. Blaming NPR for your local station's programming is like blaming the national Democratic party because your Republican congresscritter has screwed up.

Some areas are worse than others.

They also lost quite a few reporters and staff starting January.

It really is sad.
Still, it makes me wonder how much it would cost to start up a small station.
