TGIF Truthseekers! Tonight Mike will be visiting with Truthseekers in Minnesota at the KTNF AM 950 Blue State Ball! Tonight will be an encore malloy Show as as such, there will be no podcast for the program tonight.
Mike returns LIVE on Monday MLK Day, to defrost, and then deconstruct all the news happenings from the weekend. We expect to have LIVE video next week as well at long last! Many thanks to our Kickstarter supporters for making this happen!
Thanks for keeping it lit!

Please consider our Malloy Show sponsorships to advertise your small business at bargain rates, send a greeting, or spread the word about your favorite political cause. You get the bargain-priced air-time and support the program at the same time, its a win-win!
We operate outside the traditional advertising system, so we have no corporate masters to appease. So we rely on your podcast subscriptions, paypal donations, and sponsorship hours to keep on keeping it lit! Click on the links above to be a part of the radio revolution!
Thanks for all you do to keep it lit!

(21,846 posts)That cat is very smart and has great dexterity. But I have to admit that it is easier to live with a cat who is not quite as clever and definitely lacks thumbs.

(43,853 posts)If my cats had thumbs, I'd be a goner. If we lived in a duplex, they'd have offed me already, despite their thumblessness.
Thanks.

(113,265 posts)years ago, I watched a friend's cat push a can of cat food into a corner and lift the tab with his claw. the others brought needed smiles, with great thanks. give crook a big hug from me, and both of you have a wonderful and peaceful evening, and a great weekend.

(43,853 posts)I'm enjoying a glass of Shiraz that has cork floating in it. Would you like some?
niyad
(113,265 posts)thank you, I would love some. do you ever use a tea strainer for the cork?
forgot to add, give the nj gang a big hug from me.
smokey nj
(43,853 posts)I don't have a tea strainer. I do have a big one that I thought about using, but I didn't feel like looking for it (it's somewhere in my scary closet ). What I need is a better corkscrew because the one I have sucks ass. I don't know if my crappy corkscrew should get all of the blame this time, though. The wine was pretty old. My sister wanted to get rid of some wine she had and I took a bottle. I think the cork was really dried out and just crumbled.
niyad
(113,265 posts)a funnel and a piece of cheesecloth also work, as do better corkscrews (bet your closet is not really that scary!!)
was going to have a glass of wine with a friend a while back, and I started to open the bottle. the cork practically disintegrated--and the wine was basically sediment. my friend felt awful, but I explained that this happens sometimes, even to the very best of wines. fortunately, there was another bottle to go with our chocolate!!

(113,265 posts)around here, one can look out the sliding glass door and see a bear, or a mountain lion, or a deer.
we had a moose wandering around down in one of the parks a couple of years ago.
