No. I did not. I pointed out what I believe would be the consensus with regard to Jeb running. I'm pretty sure you knew that, though. Sounds like you're looking for a fight tonight. Not with me, thank you.

How is asking a somewhat rhetorical question about Jeb still being tied to his mother's apron strings "looking for a fight" on a Democratic discussion board?

and not tied to the whims and wishes of his family.

I did, however, like Barbara Bush's explanation, that there "are other families."

"I refuse to accept," she said, "that this great country isn't raising other wonderful people."

Watch out in the midterms, they don't have to spend as much on 2016 if a loss is likely

Unless something ties this to him directly and in some criminal manner he's probably fine. And right now, assuming he survives any legal issues with this bridge thing, I think he is the strongest candidate in either party.

Christie is far from done. He's no dummy. He's managed to win twice as a conservative in a fairly blue state.

We can only hope he slipped up somewhere and has incriminated himself, because otherwise Democrats in the state will have overplayed their hand and he'll come out of this stronger than ever.

The more I hear about him, the more I despise him, but there are many that may be more sympathetic to him, viewing this a "witchhunt" ala Clinton impeachment. Now this isn't my view, but I'm sure there are many out there with that impression.

Christie’s Crisis Plunges Republican Party Deeper Into The Wilderness-"Many On The Brink Of Panic"

But after a brutal year of setbacks, scandals, and political floundering capped this month by a controversy that threatens to sink New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s political career, the Republican establishment is warily scanning its bruised and bloodied field of potential 2016 standard-bearers — and many of the party poobahs are on the brink of panic.

2016 will either bring us a Republican, or a one term Democrat. America is no longer able to withstand multiple terms of one party rule. In order to prevent the potential chaos resulting from a disenfranchised party, the top prize will be shared over time. Those at the actual controls of American government must maintain the facade of bipartisanship.

The circumstantial evidence is overwhelming.
