FOX News.com: Why Chris Christie will be impeached in 2014

Because Democrats – unlike our current House Republicans – know how to run a gut-cutting, down-and-dirty-if-necessary investigation against a political opponent.

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/01/18/why-chris-christie-will-be-impeached-in-2014/

Looks like the rats are starting to leave the sinking ship of Christie's governorship and presidential aspirations in the most comical and disingenuous way possible.

But Christie was the only old school "daddy figure" strong Republican in the presidential clown car left. Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, are whiny light weights at best. Hilliary will pimp slap those dimwits to the curb without even looking up from her Blackberry.

By the time he gets finished defending "No new taxes" and "Mission accomplished" the election will have been over for months.

Still a bully, but a bully who may live a lot longer

Not that the Fox faithful will, or even possess the ability, to read beyond the first couple paragraphs.

"...As for friends he can rely on, Christie has fewer friends inside the New Jersey GOP than he should have.

He has systematically bulldozed so many fellow Republicans that they are tentative and tepid in their support.

For four years it has been known inside Jersey politics that if you made even the mildest criticism of the governor, he would come after you with a vengeance. Payback and punishment have become the rule over the past four years.

<snip>

What we are witnessing is an overly-arrogant Republican governor who has gone out of his way to insult and offend people who dare to disagree with him coupled with a hungry Democratic Party armed with indignation, money and subpoena power.

Republicans are supposed to save us from government wasting tax payer dollars, impeding business and commerce, and limiting personal freedom of private citizens. Closing bridge lanes, withholding disaster relief funds, using relief funds to produce partisan campaign ads, and scheduling an unwarranted election costing millions is not the picture fiscally conservatives looking out for the best interests of the average American.

they must know that Crispy was behind all the shennanigans in NJ - so they are setting up the fact that he will be impeached - but they will blame in on overzealous Dems.

The term "lollapalooza" has an uncertain etymology, and just that vagueness may account for its popularity as an archetypical American word.

It suggests something large, outlandish, oversized, not unduly refined.

H.L. Mencken suggests it may have originally meant a knockout punch in a boxing match...

I sure hope Faux is right this time...
