Hoboken push-back... standard 'debunking' by irrelevancy

Thoughts on reading Team Christie Hits Back At MSNBC For 'Partisan' Sandy Aid Allegations
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckraker/christie-response-hoboken-msnbc

Christie push-back:
* MSNBC is a partisan network with an anti-Christie agenda
* Hoboken got $70 million in Sandy aid
* The mayor of Hoboken had said complimentary things about Christie in the past

Okay. So what? These responses don't have much or anything to do with the allegation.

It is particularly funny that MSNBC's partisanship is supposed to be relevant, since Mayor Zimmer was on their air speaking freely for herself.

Is Christie claiming MSNBC hypnotized her? Paid her? Cut up clips to create statements she never made?

The story is is an allegation made by the mayor of one of your largest cities, and only usefully addressed on its merits as an allegation.
