did you hear the exchange between Kornacky and O'Donnell...

....at the end of O'Donnell's show tonight?

It seems that MSNBC hired Kornacky at Lawrence O'Donnell's urging precisely because Kornacky had N.J. ties and insider status.

So.......MSNBC hired Kornacky specifically to cover Christie? Way before Christie was a scandal?

Interesting.

a long time ago. Maybe they were contemplating a Christie run for the Whitehouse. They got something better with the perfect person to cover it.

Frankly, he is less and less palatable.

As for Kornacky, he certainly knows NJ politics as well as MA politics and a lot of other politics, but I doubt that he was hired because of some premonitions concerning Christie.

He has been there for a few years now dealing about things that had nothing to do with Christie (I had totally forgotten the few years he spent in NJ until he reminded people of that when the story started.

I think they hired him because he is the only person that can stop Chris Matthews from speaking

was going to be a force in the GOP...why not get ahead of the pack with having a staff member understanding NJ politics. Makes great sense and a brilliant move in light of the scandals breaking in NJ political circles
