some terrible obstructionists. A lot of closeted bigotry and hate has been exposed because of his election. In the long run that will be a positive transformation but short run it has been a negative transformation. I think he has been a great President. his greatness is measured by the obstacles he has faced and overcome in many instances.

He meant "Republicrat". He thought he would bring right and left together by enacting right wing policies or carrying over Bush policies. The opposite has happened, right-left kumbaya never materialized. So, no he isn't "transformative".

Ending DADT. Not fighting for defense of marriage act. Health care. Killing OBL. Changing his views on MJ. Ending the war in Iraq. And generally driving republicans nuts.

Obama had plans to change 'things'. Republicans had plans to keep 'things' the same and actually make them worse. The result is little has changed and little has or will get done.
