Nuremberg documents on display in Berlin
BERLIN (AP) -- A collection of documents used by prosecutors at the Nuremberg Trials to help convict top Nazis is being put on public display in Berlin ahead of its auction in Israel.
The Berlin Jewish Education Center says the documents going on display Wednesday were discovered by a collector at a flea market in Israel a half year ago and are to be auctioned Jan. 29.
Many are English translations of Nazi documents used by prosecutors in their cases against Nazis like Hermann Goering and Rudolf Hess, who were convicted at the international tribunal after the war.
They include a report on a meeting concerning "the Jewish question" chaired by Goering in 1938, and translations of correspondence between Nazi leaders.
