I agree with DrDan. Growing up in Detroit, where one can receive Canadian broadcasting, I have been a curling fan for many decades.

It's like Australian rules football. The first time you tune in, one asks "What is this?" But you are nevertheless forever hooked.

I used to be in a barbershop quartet in Skokie, Illinois. The baritone was this guy named Kip Diskin, big fat guy, I mean, like, orca fat. He was so stressed in the morning...

I'd never heard of it before then.

He was a great boss, my best ever. Warm, supportive, helped me understand the system, did not seem particularly interested in "the corporate ladder". Never thought to find such a boss there.
