On the last evening of his four-day visit to Israel, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper had a special surprise for his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu.
Instead of simply giving a speech thanking his hosts at the state dinner, Mr Harper decided to take to the stage and sing the Beatles' hit Hey Jude.

He packed his plane with 200 Conservatives and nobody from other parties, which is odd. There was actually video of Harper at the Western wall with one of his elected colleagues off camera speculating on what a million dollar shot it would be in the coming federal election. So we know exactly what this is all about. It is about wedging specific people into voting exclusively for the Conservatives.
