Reports based on Snowden's leaks said that Australia tried to bug the phones of Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, his wife, and members of his inner circle in 2009.

Indonesia protested by recalling its ambassador and suspending military and immigration cooperation. More recently, Indonesia responded furiously as Australia nonetheless entered Indonesian waters while picking up asylum seekers, incursions that led to an apology from Canberra ...

2. Is it perhaps your view that Australia's alleged surveillance of the Indonesian police state

violates our fourth amendment rights as American citizens? Or is it your view that Australia's Foreign Minister in a talk at CSIS is not allowed to discuss her views of various persons-in-the-news unless those persons are Australian?

I understand that St Eddie the Paulite was very disappointed that Ron the Great did not win the 2008 election, and it appears St Eddie then began using his position in Geneva to attempt unauthorized access to CIA files, which may have cost him his job there

Since June 2013, St Eddie (working largely through his mentor, St Glenn the Perpetually Outraged) has managed to produce a significant number of diplomatic crises, including the Australian-Indonesian dust-up referenced here by the Australian Foreign Minister
