Democratic campaign operatives have been getting worried that the White House wasnt doing enough to help them in the midterms, and that President Barack Obama didnt care enough to change that.
Friday, Obama responded: David Simas, a longtime aide who returned to the White House after running polling and focus groups for the reelection campaign, was named director of a new Office of Political Strategy and Outreach.

(18,402 posts)It must get a bit tiresome repeating the same slogan time and again. You'd think we hadn't heard it before.
Since you disapprove of whatever efforts the president's staff might make in getting people elected in 2014, I think it might be more interesting if you got busy yourself and successfully elected all the Senate and House members who (temporarily--until they actually get elected, of course) won't disappoint you. Lots of luck -- I bet every candidate you are rooting for will make it!
