Our nation has allowed paranoia from terrorism to scare us from the long term goals we need to be investing in.

While China plans to send men to the moon, we send ours to rough up third world nations.

While China invests in profiting off the growth of emerging markets, we invest in spying on citizens and locking up drug users.

Sure China does a lot of the same bad habits and more, at least they have insight to focus on long-term growth.

Our government and major businesses are only interested in the next quarterly report or election.
