Former head of the South Carolina Republican Party, Tea Party activist Todd Kincannon has unleashed a vile parade of hateful, sexist insults aimed at Texas Democratic state Sen. Wendy Davis. According to Americans Against the Tea Party, the attacks began earlier this week and have only gotten uglier.
Kincannon has enlarged upon early Republican attacks on Davis, insinuating that because she supports a womans right to choose, she must be a promiscuous, man-eating tramp. Calling her a coke whore and insinuating that she cheated on her then-husband, Kincannon wrote, at one point, I dont care if folks attack Wendy Davis unfairly. I just want her attacked.
He has tweeted, variously:
- I dont think Ive ever met anyone who was as much of a whore as Wendy Davis. And Ive met some epic whores in my travels.

(9,999 posts)This A-hole would never want to debate her on the merits of her positions - he knows she would clean his clock. So he gets right down there in the gutter and starts slinging unfounded and disgusting crap her way. Sad, sad little man. How awful for him to have to live in fear of a woman he can't control.

(9,461 posts)money who cashed in his 401k to pay for her law school. Kept her kids while she went and then she divorced him when she graduated." Oh, and also that he got custody of the kids.
The truth. She was married to Jeff Davis for almost twenty years. The Republicans claim she met Jeff Davis while she was married to her first husband. She was still married, but separated when they met. I don't know how long before they started dating but they met in 1983 and married in 1987. She graduated law school in 1993 and was admitted to the Texas bar the same year. They divorced in 2005 so she worked as an attorney for
12 years before the divorce. The Republicans claim that Jeff Davis got custody of both her kids, her daughter from the previous marriage and the one she and Jeff Davis had. The older daughter was 21 at the time, so there was no custody to be had. The younger daughter was 14 or 15 at the time. Wendy Davis did pay child support to him.
It's disgusting what the Republicans are saying about her and the inference that she was a gold digger who owes all her success to her husband. It sickens me. Her husband seems like he was very supportive, is it any wonder the Republican men don't understand the truth about the situation?

Just one quote: I hope if that guy is ever in combat again, the enemy splatters his brain JFK-style. He deserves it.
