Petition: "Millions of Americans make the minimum wage, but they can't survive on $7.25. They work forty hours a week, 52 weeks a year, and still struggle to feed their children and keep a roof over their heads. It's time to raise the minimum wage. I support Congressman Alan Grayson's "Catching Up to 1968 Act" to raise the minimum wage to $10.50 per hour, as do more than 100 economists. It's not just the right thing to do - it's the smart thing to do for our economy. We demand a raise in the minimum wage. "

I agree, but I trust Grayson to (1) deliver the signatures and (2) to make them very public so that a way is paved for future, substantial increases. This particular one should exceed 20,000.
