I am sending out a reminder for the weekly call to stop fast track for the awful TPP. You won't want to miss this one because we have, as our special guest, our progressive hero, Representative Alan Grayson.

Just a couple things, please don't try to log into the online meeting room before 4:15 Pacific/7:30 Eastern Time, as this would cause you some technical difficulties. And, only use your phone for audio, as you are logging in. Do Not try to use your computer's speaker system, as this will cause everyone problems also. I advise you to read the entire email below if you haven't done so already.

It's here. It's bad. And we must stop it. I'm talking about the runaway train known as "Fast Track" for the Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement (TPP) that's barreling through Congress now looking for votes.

Fast Track threatens to derail our democracy and accelerate the global race to the bottom in one fell swoop! (When the president mentions economic inequality on Tuesday, let's remind him that Fast Track for TPP is an express ticket to outsourced jobs and lower wages for 90% of Americans!)

Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL) is among the most outspoken critics, and he will be our guest speaker for a very SPECIAL National TPP Team conference call Sunday, January 26, at 4:30 p.m. PST, 7:30 EST. (Special thanks to TPP Team member Lauren Steiner for reaching out to him on behalf of the team!)

Congressman Grayson will talk about what's at stake now, what to expect with Fast Track in the coming days, and what we can and should be doing, as citizens and voters, to help fight it. He will also answer a few of your questions!
