That, my friends, is what we have for representation in Congress now. I saw the same BS tactic from senator carn-evil-cruz in a video earlier. And the blitzer egged her on. What a farce.
I think we, as a nation, are in some deep doo doo. If the majority of adults and near adults can't get it together and stop this crap, we're done for... and if they think they're being inconvenienced by having to participate in our participatory government now, they ain't seen nothin' yet. But then, this is what we get when citizens don't participate... up until 2008, and for decades, the percentage of eligible voters who actually voted in any federal election was 52% or less.
