Our cable has been out for the last 5 hours and is still out. The question of the hour, is will it be on for the SOTU tomorrow night? If it isn't, I'd appreciate any live streaming links anyone had.
Oh, and I now know I would not have made a good Arctic (or Antarctic) explorer. Been stuck home since Friday afternoon, shoveled snow for fun. I would not have made it in a boat frozen in the ice. I'm already near stark-ravin'.

(86,536 posts)on all of the above and MSNBC will have it. If you want to see it without commentary, C-SPAN is best and I suppose the whitehouse.gov site will be sans commentary too.

Be a kvetch, and call 'em back and demand a credit for the outage--tell them you want your bill pro-rated and you expect to see a reduction on your bill for service NOT provided.
I hold their feet to the fire! Someone needs to...!

(8,421 posts)It is back on now, and I did see someone out there working. But danged, if you are a minute late paying the bill, they are all over you so why not be a kvetch?
